Job Summary/Objective

KETOS is looking for a Director, Marketing.  The ideal candidate is a results driven leader who is well-versed in multiple aspects of marketing, ideally with experience working with Government and/or Environmental Affairs.

We are looking for a creative, proactive and collaborative marketing leader to build the function and team as the company grows, expand our content strategy, manage creation and distribution of content that helps tell the KETOS story through digital and physical channels. This role will be responsible for working closely with product marketing, sales enablement, customer success team and the rest of the executive team to build, catalog and distribute compelling content.  Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about marketing and is data and results driven. He/she must also be willing to role up their sleeves.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall marketing strategy, content creation and execution/project management.

  • Write content for award submissions and other articles, as requested. 

  • Create compelling marketing copy targeted to a wide variety of recipients. 

  • Manage development of all creative assets for the company.

  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.

  • Liaise and work with outside Marketing and PR Agencies.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth and demand generation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience. Experience working with Government and/or Environmental Affairs is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.

  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Professional and proactive work ethic.

  • Superb interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.

  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Strong copywriting skills.

  • Attention to detail is a must!
