KETOS is looking for a Sales Account Executive. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, great communicator, team player who is interested in using technology to make a global impact.
The primary responsibility of the Sales Account Executive is focused on new account penetration, net new sales revenue growth and market expansion. Metrics for success include: lead conversion into new opportunities, accurately managing the pipeline and forecasted revenue, tracking and converting the opportunities into new sales revenue, and exhibiting monthly, quarterly and yearly sales growth.
Responsible for researching, identifying, and generating weekly new opportunities using incoming demand generation tools, cold mapping phone calls, social media platforms, and email.
Building, qualifying, and managing an accurate and growing sales funnel using Salesforce.com as well as other tools. Compiles information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
Consistently provide accurate forecasting, financials, and up-to-date sales lead tracking and pipeline data using Salesforce.com
Assess the customer’s needs and pain points through effective discovery.
Close collaboration with other areas of the organization in the development of account strategies, and demand generation activities required in both geographical territories as well as target vertical markets.
Remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of Sales experience.
Experience working in a start-up is strongly desired. Must have proven record of success in a work environment where nothing comes easy and nothing works as planned.
A positive attitude and professional behavior while advocating a team approach to the business.
Experience building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and organization skills
Experience and successful track record within the any of the following industries preferred: Renewal Energy/Clean Tech, Software IoT or Government.
Ability to work effectively and meet objectives without day-to-day direction
Able to travel as needed to meet prospective clients.
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Energetic, resilient and tenacious - likes to get things done and is comfortable working in a high velocity, sometimes rapidly changing environment.
Ambitious, strongly outcomes-focused and inclined toward making crisp decisions and implementing them decisively.
Commercial mindset combined with strong technical aptitude.
